More:  "And when we stand before God, and you are sent to Heaven for doing according to your conscience, and I am sent to hell for not doing according to mine, will you come along with me—for fellowship?" http://www.papasched.com/activity/p/98051/ Thankfully, this opening was not a precursor to the film, which sought to explore a more important issue: the meaning of life.  As two unhappy individuals in their roles, both Murray and Johansson struggle to find real meaning in their current circumstances.
Gracie Hart is cast as an unattractive, disheveled, bumbling FBI agent who has no life beyond her 24/7 commitment to her job. When it is determined that a wacko, serial killer has set his sights on a Miss United States beauty pageant, Agent Hart is a reluctant last choice to go undercover. http://www.87years.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1806008 The reason is simple: you do not bring meaning to your life by seeking meaning in your life, you bring meaning to your life by giving meaning to your life.  Life does not come to you, you come to life, or you become an unhappy, dissatisfied person.
A Man for All Seasons poses the question: What would a man sacrifice for his principles? http://www.huadu198.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=222154 Henry VIII's new Chancellor of England and Cardinal--Sir Thomas More (Paul Scofield)—stands in his way as well.  Henry VIII wants Sir Thomas More's blessing in his action but does not get it as Sir Thomas More, a good Catholic and Cardinal, will not go along with such heresy.
One viewer wrote this about the film, "Overall the film is just perfect. The acting, the direction, the soundtrack, plot, themes, humor, visuals . . . what's not to like?" http://www.35lady.net/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=28940 I give Sofia Coppola a lot of credit for not writing into the script a sexual relationship between the two.  In Hollywood this would be like taking the financier's money and not worshipping at his or her feet.
Seventh, I had great difficulty as a moviegoer following the story as its presentation required much more help in context, or from a narrator, to understand what was happening when and why it was important. http://www.liangxuejun.com/plus/view.php?aid=98080 Lost in Translation has some great scenes of Tokyo, but like pictures in a photo album, they only reflect the meaning you bring to them.
"Kingdom of Heaven" Sought to Be an Epic Film, But Became a Disaster in Production http://www.qqsg.org/home.php?mod=space&uid=164101 Therein is why I gave this film an average rating rather than a good or excellent rating.  I wanted real substance in this film that I could relate to in my everyday life, and I was left wanting.
Norfolk: "Look, I'm not a scholar, and frankly I don't know whether the marriage was lawful or not—but Thomas, look at these names!  You know these men!  Can't you do as I did and come along with us for fellowship?" http://www.m48.org/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=107813 In other words, the writers of Miss Congeniality?Marc Lawrence, Katie Ford and Caryn Lucas (and these may be the only ones who were willing to take credit for the script)?did not add much beyond the plot.
Henry VIII's new Chancellor of England and Cardinal--Sir Thomas More (Paul Scofield)—stands in his way as well.  Henry VIII wants Sir Thomas More's blessing in his action but does not get it as Sir Thomas More, a good Catholic and Cardinal, will not go along with such heresy. http://www.aygonghui.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=47410 "Miss Congeniality" had a real identity problem as a movie. Unfortunately for Sandra Bullock, the star of the film as FBI agent Gracie Hart, Miss Congeniality could not take her as far as her performance merited.
Some of the animals they record in the picture looks as if they are right there close to them and the animals are not even being disturbed by them being around. It is genuinely the most amazing flick ïf its type. One program that really impressed me is the freshwater one. http://bbs.web558.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=117922 When More proves himself to be loyal to King Henry VIII by not speaking out against him and also shows himself to be a loyal subject by not inciting rebellion, Cromwell appears to prosecute Sir Thomas out of personal spite.
